"Awesome set, amazing value"
Quality:These are super-tough cymbals. I've cracked many cymbals that cost more than these, and my crash is still going strong.
Desirability:
Awesome looking peices as well. They look great, however they are prone to picking up fingerprints because of the gloss.
Sound:
The sound of this pack is superb. The hi hats are crisp and project well over the other sounds, the crash is fast and lively, and the ride has a great ping with subtle overtones. It's true that the ride rings for a while, but it's soft enought to get drowned out. My only complaint is that the ride has a small bell, which makes it more difficult to use it for accents and you really need to mike it for live performances. Other than that, great cymbals
Overall:
Why spend money on a name? I prefer these to other Sabians, Meinls, and Zildjians. It's a matter of personal preference of course, but these are a super value for the quality you get for the price.
