"Value and Versatility!"

Feature:
Good switching setup for the pickups; much better than average. Nice tuning machines. Does not have a compensated nut. Does not have a vibrato tailpiece. Otherwise, has good features.

Quality:
No heavy finish to scratch, so no paint to repair! I dinged mine and was able to repair it with an ordinary Formby's kit. Nobody can find the spot. Neck joint is solid as a rock. Beautiful contouring at the neck joint makes it easy to reach the upper register frets. Flawless mahogany with a maple top that would do justice to a PRS, except that PRS would put so many layers of paint over it, you would never hear the resonance of the wood! Maybe some people actually prefer the sound of paint?

Value:
At the advertised price, it is a staggering value. Compared to my Gibson '61 Reissue SG, this was a steal. Plays better, made better, looks better, better quality parts, more versatile by quadruple.

Desirability:
This isn't a showboat. It's a beautiful, understated guitar for a musician with plenty of brains, nothing to prove, and no money to waste. If you can play your *ss off, then you don't need to worry about impressing people with how your guitar looks. Am I right?

Sound:
The coil tapping switch combined with a regular toggle and the Super Rock II pickups has a very broad range of tones and timbres. Can get almost any sound I want at the flick of a switch. No heavy finish means the wood resonance is great; better than some semi-acoustics. Good sustain, too. I restrung it with Tomastik-Infeld ultra-light flatwounds. It's magic.

Ease of Use:
Plays better than my genuine Gibson SG. Stays tuned better, faster neck action, better balanced. Controls are well placed and logical in how they work.

Support:
Never had any cause to call them. Guitar works perfectly. Their web sit answered all my questions about customizing the electronics, so I never needed to call.

Overall:
After playing this inexpensive Korean made Schecter and experiencing how genuinely great an instrument it is, I'm going to change my mind about USA made guitars. My next guitar will probably be a Schecter C1-Classic. Why? Because I will get the same beautiful workmanship, components and playability, PLUS genuine Seymour-Duncan SH-2n / SH-4b pickups and a five way selector switch. I figure between those two guitars, they will completely replace every other electric I have or could imagine. And I will only be out about $1,500 total.
