Sound:

This guitar has a fantastic tonal quality. It has a very rich and full sound in all ranges. I tested it on a flat amp with all on guitar EQ flat as well and it sounded phenomenal. All the way up and down the neck it was vibrant, thick and clear, even the notes on the 24th fret were clear, full, and in tune to boot! Couldn't ask for more.

Feature:

Good pick ups (EMG-40HZ's), Grover tuners, great wood, fantastic bridge....what else could you ask for?

Ease of Use:

The playability of this bass is awesome. I have small hands and have issues with the size of some guitar's necks...not this one. It is fast and comfortable. The strings have a nice spacing and the control nobs are in the standard local with a standard set up. Can't complain here either.

Quality:

This thing is SOLID. It feels solid from the time you pick it up.(then again it is a Schecter...so no surprise) All of the tuners are rock solid, the bridge is much likened to concrete in it's stability and the bass as a whole...well I haven't found a flemzy spot yet.

Manufacturer Support:

I give them a nine for the sheer fact they don't have their own guitar care products....silly I know, but I had to have something. I called ans asked what was preferred for the care of the finish and they said Dunlop 65 guitar polish and for the fretboard the Dunlop 65 lemon oil.

Value:

Schecter simply can't be beat in this price range. Show me a Fender with this kind of sound, killer looks, a bridge that doesn't have to be replaces, and a feel like you could drop it, step on it and then play a gig.....good luck.

The Wow Factor:

The shape of this guitar is awesome in my opinion. The wood layout is also just fantastic. the layering of the mahogany, wenge, and the very thin lay of what I gather to be maple is just breath taking. IMO among the top looks on a bass right now. I really do think the looks of this body and headstock rival if not exceed that of much more expensive basses.

Overall:

You can't go wrong with this bass. I love mine to death, I've had it a week now and can't put it down. (much to the dismay of my wife) It doesn't ride heavy on the shoulder, it has phenomenal tonal quality, great action and looks like a $2000+ bass.....what more could you ask for? Buy it you won't be disappointed if you like getting a good guitar for your money. I'm a Schecter man, especially after this one...I mean my last Schecter was good....but this is amazing.

Sound:

Awesome… I took it to rehearsal at church and the guitarist who has been a professional music for 40+ years commented that “it was the best sounding bass that he has heard in along time”.

Feature:

Best features for a guitar in this price range! The active Equalizer with the EMG HZ passive pickups is a great combination. I have total control of my tone from the guitar. Also the pickups have a blend knob instead of a selector switch. This also helps to dial in your tone. This $400 bass has a 5 piece Thru Body Neck which is very comfortable and has great sustain. Try any find any other bass at this price with those features.

Ease of Use:

The neck is very fast and playable. I can easily play above the 20th fret because of the Thru Body Neck.

Quality:

The fit and finish are excellent. I have played out with it for the last 6 months without any issue. The only thing that could be better is the battery cover requires a screw driver to remove it, but that's not a big deal.

Manufacturer Support:

No issues so no contact... This is Good.

Value:

I spent months researching and playing different bass guitars, most were more expensive than this one. I could not find many reviews on this model, but play similar Schecters. I bought it without ever playing one and are very happy that I did. Nothing else in this price range compares to this bass!

The Wow Factor:

The shape of this guitar is what first caught my attention. I have a P Bass any want something not so common. My P Bass makes a good backup!

Overall:

Great feel, great tone and a great price. The Thru Body and fast playing neck makes playing effortless. It is very comfortable and easy to play. This is the closest to a high end professional instrument you can buy at this price and it is well worth it. I would definitely recommend this bass. Buy one and you will not be disappointed.
