"How Can they sell this bass for such a LOW price."

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
It took me about 2 minutes to figure out the knob setup. The pickups kick big kundingi!!! And for a guy with short, stumpy fingers, the neck is a li'l slice of heaven.

    Quality:
I don't know how they can see this bass at such a low price. I played a fender American deluxe 5 last week, and the Schecter plays rings around it.

    Value:
I played a Warwick 5 string a little while back, it felt and played just like the Schecter, but cost 3 times as much. If you want a GREAT bass and don't want to suffer missed meal cramps, buy a Schecter.

    Desirability:
Want it? I OWN iT!!! Is it sexy? My wife says it is! When I was younger and and bought basses because of their looks, I'd hve picked this up. BUT it's the way it plays and sounds that makes me shiver!

    Sound:
This bass has the funkiest sloppy slappy I've ever heard. The string action and response stacks up with anything I've ever played (and that includes Warwicks and Ken Smiths.)It does open string triplets like you wouldn't believe.

    Support:
Actually, I have no idea. There is nothing wrong with "my baby".

    Overall:
This will be my lead bass. I plan on having it cremated with me when I die.

    "Simply the Greatest!"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
    Great looking quilted top

    Quality:
I've had no trouble at all with it. Everything works fine.

    Value:
This bass is worth much more than the Fenders or other basses that cost just as much.

    Desirability:
Just looking at it, and holding it, any bass player would love it.

    Sound:
Has a wide range of tones. Great pickups.

    Overall:
This bass can do it all. There is nothing I can say that I don't like about it.

    "Not bad for the money....."

    Feature:
Great buy for the money! I think 600 beans is'nt bad for what your getting at all. Really nice wood, nice hardware. Through the neck construction does'nt make a bit of difference to me but seems to be cool. No big difference in over all sound or response than a bolt on neck.

    Quality:
LOTS of mids, highs. Lacks in lows to mid lows. No need for low eq and high eq I'd like to see 2 volume 2 tone settings...

    Value:
It's a good deal I think so far for the coin spent, time will tell...

    Desirability:
When I brought it to my friends they said it matched my red hair....

    Sound:
I think the EMG passive Hz's are very good over all for mids and highs but I noticed they don't quite get the low tubs that I prefer though without full low eq setting. I play classic rock very little slapping going on so no need for a tweeter sound. I wish the strings had more spacing, I like that in the Fender setup to bass necks a little better. I think this bass has about the same feel as a GIBSON LES PAUL styled bass.

    Support:
    Bought not directly from company...

    Overall:
Time will tell...Still have to make good friends with it.

"Beautiful tone, powerful EMG's and a great feel. I'm in love!"

    Value:
I cannot believe how much I paid for it. I needed a good bass and I didn't want to pay for the Warwicks (gotta be rich to afford it)

    Desirability:
it is a beautiful bass... the neck through design gives tremendous tone and feels great. I have a feeling it will be the only bass i use.

    Sound:
I believe I can get any sound I want. Sounds the best when slappin. The EMG pickups give this bass a powerful sound. B string sound tremendous.

    Overall:
What do I most like. The price and the fact you get EMG active pickups. I mean you cannot beat the sound. Least liked is the fact that there aren't any dots on the fret board, but believe me, I will get over it quick, fast, and in a hurry!
