    "Get one now!"

    Sound:
This pickup really does give you a Dimebag (rip) guitar sound. It has ear piercing treble and smooth bass with not much midrange. It even sounds nice and bright on clean. I think this pickup is best used with amps that have high gain like my Peavey Bandit 112 or a Randall or similar. Palm muting is very punchy but I found that I had to crank my amp a little louder to get a good punch when practicing. It is almost good enough to make my mates 100W solid state Marshall sound OK for metal (now that's saying something) This pickup comes into its own when you crank the volume and gain right up. Play it with full gain, full bass, min midrange, and half treble setting on your amp and you will be set. I have fitted this pickup to my own guitar and to 3 other mates guitars. They all wanted one right away.
    Feature:
It had everything you needed and came with OK instructions. It would have been good if it came with the 4 mounting screws so my rusty old ones wouldn't have to detract from the otherwise very shiny pickup.
    Quality:
    Looks perfect.

"This thing will put hair on your chest."

    Sound:
If you're looking for balls out, gut wrenching, distortion, then this is your pickup. I put it on my les paul and, combined with the weight of the guitar, this thing actually sounds violent. I love it. When playing it through a 4 x 12 with plenty of power, it hits you in the chest. Unbelievable. Exactly what I was looking for
    Feature:
screws and springs and a pickup ring. I had to use my longer screws mounting it in the bridge position of my Les Paul.
    Quality:
    Great looking pickup.
    Manufacturer Support:
Haven't had to deal with them.
    Value:
I bought it for $82 and compared with everything else I saw, this was a good price.
    The Wow Factor:
It does look cool. I like the blades instead of screws.
    Overall:
If it were stolen or broken, I'd get the same thing to put back in it.

    "Far More Than I Expected."

    Sound:
Despite what someone said below about it not having a low growl, this is the most crunchy and raw sounding pickup I've ever heard. All active pickups are put to shame with this, and the sustain is fantastic.
    Feature:
It sounds like it should- Dimebag good- with distortion, and it has a rather distinct clean sound. It adds a great element to playing all forms of music, that's for sure.
    Quality:
I have a feeling this will last forever, I'm just not too sure about the fact that it's overly hyper with picking up odd tones from computer screens and fl. lights. It hasn't been enough for anyone else to notice, just me.
    Value:
While this is a phenominal piece of equipment, I cringed at the thought of paying so much for it, and I still do. Luckily, I got it at cost. But for people that actually have a couple bucks, I guess it's more than worth the buy, it's got such a rich and one of a kind tone.
    The Wow Factor:
Wanna stay away from 9 volts? Get a couple of these or one of these and an EMG HZ or DiMarzzio and you're set. Clean or distorted, it's sure to please any player.
    Overall:
I love this pickups sound so much, but I do wish they were cheaper so I could get another. Untill then, I'm going to have one Dimebucker and the rest shall be EMG.

Seymour Duncan SH13 Dimebucker Dimebag Darrell Humbucker Pickup Customer Review

    Sound:
I think it's got a clear sound and if you like having a heavy mid-sucked sound then you'll love it. I have it on my Platinum Beast(the one that only 400 were made and has silver bevers) along with a PRS McCarty neck pickup. I get great sounds. As long as I slightly hold the strings I don't get any feedback and other unwanted humming and sound other pickups might get even when you have your guitar strings still and holding them so.
    Feature:
I hac someone else put it on, but the only thing I'd change is having a metal pickup ring instead of plastic. But so far I haven't seen any pickup come with one.
    Quality:
Well lets see...... Hmmmmm, if Dimbag has it on a few guitars then of course I can depend on it. It powerful and you don't need a battery like EMG's so you don't have to unplug your guitar every time you don't use it or buy alot of batteries.
    Value:
Well, like someone else said, Dime still mostly uses Bill Lawence XL-500 and you can buy pretty much the same thing for about $50. I didn't know this till after I got the Dimebucker; but for my other two guitars I think I'll go with Lawence. But it still kicks ass!!
    The Wow Factor:
I think it looks cool, it doesn't look like average pickup with the screws in them, this looks like two blades placed into it. I also love the nice crunch when palm-muting and the sucking out of the mids.
    Overall:
Overall, I think it's good, but you can find the same thing made by someone else for cheaper, but if your in a hurry, then the Dimebucker is for you.
