    "True PAF sonics."

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
If you put in such a fine pickup with such good lead wires, you should either have, or splurge the few extra bucks for good pots and wiring to bring out all its sound.

    Quality:
    Beautiful work, very carefully made.

    Value:
At least as good as Gibsons, and priced better.

    Desirability:
Nice gold finish, which is holding up well after 2 years, but gold finishes always decay progressively over time.

    Sound:
Like the first PAFs, this pickup has a simply gorgeous sound: clear, rich, balanced. I've been using it at the neck of my nice old Sheraton for an absolutely clean jazz sound in lead or rhythm, but it produces incredible harmonics for sustain in more 'dirty' blues or classic rock.

    Ease of Use:
Like all humbuckers, you can tweak its screws easily for whatever string balance you want.

    Support:
Seymour Duncan has a reputation for good service, and they have a great site for more info about their products. I've never had a problem, so I've never called them.

    Overall:
    It's a keeper.
