    Feature:
good sound, decent isolation, nice comfort

    Quality:
Headphones are excellently built. They take abuse very well and they are comfortable. I have dropped them hundreds of times, as well as stepped on them and ripped them off my head. The cables being detachable are very nice, and if you do anything to crazy the entire speaker unit will pop off the band. This has saved these headphones from lots of problems... pop the thing back on and you are ready to go again. Ive used them as recording references on lots of gigs, but they dont isolate enough to compete with a loud band unless you want to blow your eardrums out because youve got the volume jacked up so much. Oh, and they have withstood quite a rediculous amount of loud crap being played through them. Im not qutie sure why they havnt blown yet, but they havnt.

    Value:
I got these headphones for a rediculous deal. a company game them to me for cost because they really screwed up a transaction. I think i paid like 70 bucks or so for them and this was probably one of the better deals ive gotten in my life.

    Desirability:
these are nice, comfortable, and good sounding. They are certainly not RS-1's, but somehow, sometimes ill put them on over the RS-1's. At least that way, im guarenteed not to have the treble being overly present in the mix or even sometimes shreeking at me a bit. They are by no means as natural as the rs-1's, but they do seem to present a nice textured musical experience. They seem to make most of what i listen to sound pleasing, and they present the sound in a way that feels natural and good.

    Sound:
I like the way these sound. I have compared the to the grados RS-1 and the 125's or whatever they are. The grados are far more clear, but the sennheisers are nice to enjoy. The bass is large, and the treble is smooth but not quite there as much as the rs-1's and they have a more colorful sound than the grados 125's. I like these cans, but the stupid cable has broken on me 3 times in the last 4 years or so. Sennheiser needs to make buying the cheap cable easier.

    Support:
about 2 years ago, i had no problem reaching Sennheiser. they even sent me a new cable for free when the original went out. Since then, i havnt been able to get ahold of them. They dont return emails, and i cant find a number for them anywhere.... maybe im not looking hard enough.

    Overall:
Ive had these headphones about 4 years, maybe 5. They still are nice. They are not reference quality for studio work, but they are pleasing to listen to, and present enough isolation that i dont mind giving them to vocalists, guitarists, bassists, and so on. They can dish out a lot of bass, so they are good to give to a bassist. I'd like to hear the other sennheiser headphones, especially after hearing the Grados. I think that sennheiser knows how to make a colorful sounding headphone that makes me want to listen. If these were stolen, id probably buy some nicer ones because i have more money now than i used to.
