"One of the best condenser mics for the money!"
Feature:Adjustments for attenuation an low end roll off. Terrific shock mount.
Quality:
Built like a tank, just like all my other Shure mics. I have been using Shure for over 30 years both on stage an in the studio. I stick with a great product line when I find one.
Value:
Great price point for a large condenser Shure mic. A steal as far as I'm concerned.
Desirability:
To me the practically and functionality is what counts. But if you are into "sex appeal" when it comes to studio equipment - it does look great. I use on a boom stand and hang it upside down to make it easier to set up music stand. My friends think it looks very professional (so do I).
Sound:
Excellent clean sound. Nice, warm and airy. Great for recording vocal tracks.
Ease of Use:
Easy to use. I never bothered to read the manual. Works best with an external pop filter.
Support:
I have never needed to deal with tech support in terms of defective equipment. My only contact with their tech team has been for advice and Shure was excellent at answering my questions quickly.
Overall:
If it lasts as long as my other Shure mics it will be around long after I'm gone to the great studio in the sky. Seriously, only one Shure mic failed and that was after 30 years of abuse.

"Best sub $1000 vocal mic out there"
Quality:The schock mount is a bit sketchy
Value:
I own a reconditioned U67 as well. Latrly, the KSM27 has sounded better on 3 out of 5 singers.
Sound:
This is my favorite sub-$1000 condenser, hands down. It has that 'forward' Neumann-like quality that places a vocal a foot or so out in front of the speakers.

Come with a locking shock mount, keeps the mic very stable. Pad usefull with piano, loud vocals, ect. Low filter blocks out air-conditioner rumble. No ajustable patterns. Omni would be better.
Quality:
Built in the USA, Built to last!
Value:
Solid mic for the money
Desirability:
Look great. Feels good in your hand. You can tell it was made with love!
Sound:
SOLID MIC! articulate, even, clean, quite. A bit on the bright side compared to AT4050.
Support:
no need
Overall:
The kind of mic musicians tend to keep for a long time.
