"This is the Father of all good mics!"

    Feature:
You can record anything with this mic! If you have a studio and want to do lyrics for an album you might want to go with a tube mic instead.

    Quality:
I have beaten mine to s#^t and it still performs. I'm looking to get another one for live performances with an acoustic, but my first still works like the day I bought it!

    Value:
If you need a mic on a budget, for live or studio, road show or club, this is it!

    Desirability:
Nothing is sexier than a mic in your hand that delivers what your saying! The ladies love the singer/ rapper! Put one in your hand, you'll know what I mean!

    Sound:
This microphone is crazy for the price! I have mics that costed 5 times as much that don't sound as good, and definetly couldn't survive stage life!

    Support:
I've never had to call the company or work with them, what better support could you ask for than a product that never needs it?

    Overall:
Unless you're willing to spend at least $600 don't even consider another mic!

    Shure SM58 Customer Review

    Feature:
    Only the mic-clip.

    Quality:
Rugged body and I have never had problems with it.

    Value:
A little expensive, but a mic you can put your thrust in.

    Sound:
    Warm and clean sound.

    Support:
Haven't needed any support, and that's the best!

"For live work - possibly. Recording - now completely outdated and outclassed."

    Feature:
Best feature is the fact you can disconnect it. Do so.

    Quality:
Rugged reliable. Would put many a Russian tractor to shame.

    Value:
    Over-rated sound for the money.

    Sound:
For live work only, and there are much better mics around nowadays. A disaster for recording. The ultimate lemming mic. "But everyone else has one so they must be good". Must they? Coloured sound, lacks any delicacy and shreds the leading edge of transients. Like listening to a stereo with a bucket on your head. (Same goes for those awful Beyer DT100 headphones). It's just that no one else has the balls to tell it like it is, get a decent condenser for recording work. Start with a bad sound, and it only gets worse...
