"Poor, extremely poor."

Feature:
Why 10? If it actually did what it says it does, it would be the best product out there.

Quality:
If I were to base this only on its integration of scanning, it would get a one. The process of scanning and correcting takes longer than entering the music manually, which as I already mentioned is tedious. Couple this with the fact that the scanning interface only implements a subset of the editing support the main package has and you'd be best to go back to paper. Other issues include focus and selection problems, midi playback quirks, and poor fretboard integration.

Value:
It is going into my desk drawer. The CD's got a hole in the middle, so I can't use it as $120 coaster.

Desirability:
Glossy ads and reviews in magazines they advertise in don't add up to a quality product. The closest thing I saw to an honest review (after the fact) was in Sound On Sound. Unfortunately that was after my purchase.

Sound:
The product is supposed to come with Kontact. It shows up in its list of devices however it won't play on my system. I can find no option anywhere where I can tweak it. It makes no sound so it gets a one. It will work with other synths (s/w and h/w) I have on my PC but that is sound I already had.

Support:
It took 4 days for my "online" registration to go through. By this time I had gotten totally frustrated by the package. Support's response to my second e-mail was to tell me: 1. My product had finally be registered. (woo-hoo!) 2. The don't offer refunds on registered products. (doh!) Kind of a catch-22 when they recommend you register right in the install without warning you that if you're not satisfied you're out of luck. They get a 3 because the responded to my second e-mail.

Overall:
It is a throw away, they won't give me my money back.
