"OK for portables if you can trim some fat off the bass."

Feature:
Foldable. Very good. Fits nicely. Hasn't entirely done away with ear sweat after hours of continuous use.

Quality:
's OK. Fits nicely and all that. Nothing outstanding, though.

Desirability:
I'd want it for my portables if the bass wasn't so damn fat, or - woe be me - if I can find no other headphones for portable devices with better specs.

Sound:
Good separation, good high frequency, but the bass is waaaay too fat.

Overall:
For my home use, I'll go with Sennheiser's high-end models. The lower end Sennheisers that suit portable devices are yet in need of being tested ...

"awesome studio/live 'phones"

Feature:
Folding feature nice for taking phones to gigs. Minijack - 1/4 adapter comes in handy, allows me to use for both live/studio and with my iPod.

Quality:
seem well built, have two pairs. one is over 10 years old and still works, however durability of earpads is questionable

Value:
money well spent, would have spent more if necessary

Sound:
They sound pretty flat in comparison to jbl reference monitors. May be slightly lacking in the low end, but isn't really a problem. These Sonys sound much better than some similarly priced AKG's I have heard.

"On the stage, behind the board or in the studio these are tops!"

Feature:
The fact that they come with a 1/4" converter just means that I can enjoy the same high quality from my mp3 player as I can when I'm on stage or in the studio... The soft case is a little cheezy but the fold-up feature is extremely useful and adds to the ruggedness of these.

Quality:
Absolutely the best... Very rugged. The fold-up design is a winner.

Value:
You get what you pay for.

Sound:
Extremely accurate. Good isolation. I have tried others, but nothing quite matches these. The price is a bit more than most are willing to spend, but as the saying goes... you get what you pay for.

Support:
I have had no problems with these, but if they are anything like the other sony products I have owned, I will be more than pleased.

Overall:
I can't say enough about these headphones. I use them primarily as a personal monitor on stage. Some of the venues I play don't have or can't afford the in-ear personal monitors, and when coupled with a tap box, they can't be beat. When used as a stage monitor make sure you have a good house mix in them as well as anything you want because the isolation is so excellent, you will hear very little if any, stage noise.

Feature:
it came with everything i expected it did, so therefore its great.

Value:
so worth it.

Desirability:
i like the way it folds up in a bunch, can easily fit in small areas.

Sound:
Bass sound and treble sound is tip top quality and can handle anything, any song, any band, everything. This product came in nice material packaging, this product doesnt shake or make any buzzing sounds, if you want clear music, this right here is! these headphones basically override any other, period.
