"Cubase...a planet away from here"

Feature:
It is not a simple recording tool ...a background in sound engineering could be very useful...Benn playing for nearly 45 years and this is getting to be slightly more complex than my abilities to control it.....AL

Quality:
Nice software but complicated copy protection takes a bit to get going

Value:
Other simpler programs might have been easier for the money spent

Desirability:
If you want to record digitally, this is a good way to go ..but YOU GOTTA READ THESE MANUALS that are NOT included in a printed format ... CD only

"Unexpectedly Impressed."

Feature:
It is so "deep" after days of tweaking, I am still discovering. By deep, i don't mean confusing, I mean layers of capabilties.

Quality:
If this were a car, i would put it in the range of a 7 series BMW.

Value:
There are notorius "Mac" programs that cost a lot more that are just not as powerful, or sound as great. The mixer section with its seemless automation of everything on the strip INCLUDING EQ is worth the sticker price.

Sound:
Stunning. If you have been running apps like Adobe Audition, Sound Forge, or Vegas... This is a cut above. The stock Reverbs sound better than Waves bundle (My opinion) Very rich, lots of definition even at 44.1 I am blown away.

Overall:
It will be a powerful and great sounding creative tool in my arsenal for a good while. As fast as tech grows, this version of Cubase is on the front of the edge...

Feature:
I'm just happy with the features..

Quality:
Quality is good and as you know.. technology always move forward..and there is always omething new

Value:
Eventhough.. the price is just little too high.. but it's really worth it..

Desirability:
The program inside is really nice and need and easy to use

Sound:
First of all... I am new to the Computer in Music..by taking music class in my school.. my prof.. introduce me to cubase.. the rest is history.. The sound of this product is really clear and good.. it's all depend on the way that you mix the sound and how you want it to come out.. and what is your taste abou MIDI.. sound.. and anything.. because Cubase can do anything that you want it to do base on my experience with it

Support:
I havn't had any problem with Cubase or anything yet

Overall:
I will be working with it as long as Cubase still around.. I just love it.. People said that Protool is much better but here is the catch.. different program is good for different things.. Cubase is good for me.. I will keep using it and buy new version.. or whatever it is
