"Best purchase at the least price to improve your studio"

Feature:
This unit is extremely well thought out. I use it as a preamp into my Tascam US-428 sound card. Add a little compression to hear a spanking clean clear vocal above your mix. Do the same for your acoustic guitar. Careful though. As is often the case you may not need as much compression as you think with this smooth warm sounding optical compressor. It can be a bit sensitive though too.

Quality:
Good quality build. Looks cool. It can get a bit hot. Very readable ergonomic knobs and meter.

Value:
If you read what I wrote above you already understand my enthusiasm for the product.

Desirability:
Has a pleasing appearance. Modern and ergonomic at the same time. Easy to use knobs and readable meters. Incredible sound.

Sound:
This unit delivers the goods- especially when it comes to the sound. Remember though that some tweaking and experimenting with this baby will pay off big time! I would have given it a 10 if the unit was 4 band EQ instead of the 3 that they give. Works great with a mic or direct.

Support:
Emailed them to find out info before I bought. Very responsive.

Overall:
I don't particularly care for the whole digital recording scene because frankly it just doesn't sound that good to me. However, this unit does give me more enjoyment as my tracks are sounding warmer (and without having to add too much reverb or delay) and have more presence. Can't conceive of a better value.
