"Nice, clean, bass tones."

Feature:
The tweeter sounded like a good idea, but in actual use I couldn't detect any sound difference. What I did notice was a distinctive humming noise emitted from the tweeter.

Value:
For what's out there, I'd say for the money, it would be hard to find a better deal on a bass amp.

Support:
I haven't had to contact anyone for service.

"Long time bassist gives a big "thumbs up" rating for this amp!!!"

Feature:
The only accessories are built in, but there are many options. I had a custom cover made for it. It fits beautifully, and it would be nice if you could make that an option at point of sale.

Quality:
This is a very well made bass amp. I am convinced that this will be an amp that I will be able to count on for many years to come.

Value:
It is well worth the price I paid for it, and more!

Desirability:
Basically, it is a practical addition to my setup. Beyond that, I like the tilt mode, and sturdiness of the cabinet. The steel speaker "cloth" is much more of a protectant than the usual cloth that covers most speakers.

Sound:
This is the 1st musical equipment I've purchased in 35 years. I used to play through my Sunn Socic I bass amp with 1 - 15" JBL speaker, that had 100 watts. When I saw the small size of this SWR amp, I was a little leary, but having 200 watts packed into a smaller package is the perfect solution. My Sunn amp was very basic, but good for the times. This SWR Working Pro 12 is very modern with lots of controls and really puts out the bass. At first I thought I would only use it as my practice amp, and still use the Sunn amp when I play gigs, but I have changed my mind, and will most likely sell the Sunn amp now.

Ease of Use:
It's quite easy to get the sounds you want right out of the box, however, after reading the manual, you will be much more familiar with the product and what it can do.

Support:
I haven't had the need to talk with SWR about anything at this time.

Overall:
Seeing that my Sunn amp has lasted me 35 years, I plan on having this amp for the rest of my life! If it were stolen or destroyed some how, I would simply buy another one. The only item lacking that I can see would be wheels like the Working Pro 15. I can't lift heavy items, so if it had wheels, I could move it more freely. It shouldn't be too hard to add wheels to the bottom, but it would have been nicer if they were already there.

"Very versatile combo for the price"

Feature:
Again For this price range you can't beat this amp for value. Even within is's own series. Why would you miss out on 200 watts for only $100 (and 3 lbs) more than a working pro 10. Also, why would you spend $140 more for a slightly larger speaker and an extra dial on the bass enhancer for the WP 15? (Not to mention the 15 is 24 lbs heavier than the 12) This amp features portability, excellent sound quality, xlr and direct line outputs. The un amped line in allows it to be used as a monitor during gigs

Quality:
So far so good. The quality is excellent right out of the store, but I've only had it a couple months. I herd Fender recently bought out SWR, and that their pre 2004 equipment is better. I can see no truth to this statement do far, but only time will tell. Seems great for now.

Value:
Wouldn't be surprised if the price of this model goes up next year.... Excellent Value.

Desirability:
Very sexy. The grill is shiny silver on sleek black. The led lights seem to wink at me as they twinkle like stars. You friends will hate you.

Sound:
That Famous SWR sound...theres nothing else quite like it. Of course for the price range this amp is in, you shouldn't expect it to sound quite as good as a black beauty. But i's as close as you are going to get without spending a Grand. I tried some of the Smaller SWR combos as well, but this one stood out from the pack. The 200 Watt powered 12" speaker picks up all of the deep low tones. Excellent sound for a solid state amplifier. Built in bass boost W/ simultaneous compression. Noe effects, just a very clean and transparent sound. My Ibanez BTB sings through it.

Ease of Use:
This amp is very simple to use, and perfect for me. I'm only giving it a 9 since I haven't been able to use all of the features yet.

Support:
So far I've only contacted SWR to see if they make a cover for this amp. The responded to my e-mail in 24 hours. A phone contact would be nice.

Overall:
Of course this Amp is not adequate to address every need you will ever have as a bassist. Eventually you will certainly need more power and more speakers. However, If your looking for a practice amp that will give you a full range of sound from your instrument, this is it. This combo can keep up with a guitar rig and drum kit for any rehersal or smaller gig setting. And when you play the larger venues, use the xlr to plug into the house PA and keep this little baby on stage as a minotor wedge. I will continue to use this amp as long as it lasts. If it were to blow I would replace it.

"More than you'd expect from a small combo"

Feature:
N/A

Quality:
Ive only had it for a few weeks, but this amps built solid, and through past experience with SWR, I'm sure its built to last on the road...

Sound:
The tone of this amp is awsome for such a small package. I used it in a small room with a 7 piece band and after tweeking the EQ the tone was tight with a lot of bottom that cut through and mixed well with the whole band.Plenty of headroom and EQ options....

Ease of Use:
Plenty of options to shape the sound for any room. Speaker sounds great with no rattle or thin sound I found in most combos this size. very solid cabinet, but I tend to question the 44lbs.that is listed on the website. its a bit heavy, but not overly so,I would guess about 60 lbs.
