    "SWR RULES AFTER SUNN RETIRED"

    Feature:
Gentlemen I use RS66LD Rotosound Roundwounds, Fender Jazz bass, Bridge pick up only so who the bluddy hell needs a "tweeter"?? These guys deliver almost as good as my JBL k-140's treble-wise so I think for me the Foster horn is always turned off. If'n I had a 6 String prolly turn it on. They's fer fun anyhow as I mostly use my Acoustic 370 into my 2 301 Cabinets. These are for TACTICAL targets. I roll out the above mentioned fer STRATEGIC targets(larger gigs). IMHO this is better'n Magnavox 410HLF, Eden 410 XLT or Bergantino for the money and decent construction, get the covers, you will bluddy regret it if'n ya'll don't. Quit wasting time heah and buy 2 like a tole ya.

    Quality:
I have played bass fer 37 years heah. Ya I'm an opinionated "A-hole" but these guys are well made but caution heah is advised regarding power ratings..DO NOT I REPEAT, DO NOT APPLY MORE than 250 Watts R.M.S. into one or ya'll have problems like that ohter guy with the blown speakers. They bluddy can't take no 700 watts! No driver needs more than 100 to make it work. Can the MOSFET amps heah and get a real amp then ya'll appreciate this heah fine SWR product. I like my 2 Goliath III !!

    Value:
The best buy for a 4 x 10" cabinet. IMHO the best buy for a small cabinet compared to my Acoustic 301 Cabinets or a Magnavox SVT 8 x 10" cab. This little brute is fun to blast thru if you have 2. Must have 2, hey I'm trine ta sell these! Great cabinet, buy it.

    Desirability:
BASS AMPLIFIERS AND CABINETS ARE NOT SEXY. This is Industrial Sound Equipment heah. If you want sexy you need to get some magazines, cable tv, videos, maybe call an escort or 2.Playboy channel. They do look good stacked like mine. Sound especially good with a vacuum tube amp like the Sunn Model T that I use. A nice change from my JBL 15" or my Cerwin-Vega 18" but blended is awesome, 8 10", 4 15" and 2 18" is ground shaking my bass brothers!

    Sound:
I have played my Sunn Coliseum bass amp thru 2 Sunn 200S Cabinets loaded with 4 JBL K-140 15" speakers so 10" speakers are kinda new for me. Like them, I have 2 Goliath III under my Sunn Model T whichs gives me a "Mini-SVT" set-up but these little brutes are lively cause they're ported and the SVT 8 x 10" although loud are acoustically dead. If'n yall like the so-called punchy 10" sound these are better than Magnavox which has cheap tolex, condom thick. Buy 2 cause you can't bluddy fly on one wing now can ya?

    Ease of Use:
Are ya'll kidding heah?? Step 1 plug in 14 guage speaker cable into 2 cabs, run cable back to Sunn Model T, warm up 4 6550 tubes, plug in Jazz bass.Step 2 Play loud and fast other wise ya'll shoulda bought a Line6 modeling combo amp.

    Support:
Learn how to use the equipment and it should last a bluddy long time. No problems.

    Overall:
like I tole ya'll best buy fer a 4 x 10" cabinet period. Hay-ell you can even play git thru 'em in a pinch, I have but theys bass cabs. So they do lack in that aspect, the Sunn 200s sounds ok fer git. Quit readin this Shi'ite and order 2, don't cheap out and pump that 1200 watt MosFet amp into jus one! Theys like Lay's Potato Chips, nobody can play thru jus one cuz ah neva do. BUY 2. DO IT. NOW.

    "SWR for President!!!"

    Feature:
An adjustable hi frequency horn is a plus.

    Quality:
It is well put together. It has a solid wood frame with traditional SWR carpet like covering. With a travel case definitely road ready. Highly dependable. If you treat it good, it will be good to you.

    Value:
I got mine for steal. It's every bit worth the selling price I just was blessed.

    Desirability:
It's probably one of the most recognized cabs in the world. Besides who wouldn't be attracted to that crome grill!!

    Sound:
The sound makes me feel complete. From pushing an ultra clear high end to carrying my low B with depth and feel. It's to the point that I get frustrated at rehersal because my practice amp doesn't give me my sound. I use an Ampeg BR2 @350 watts with an SWR 15" Son of Bertha. It caters to any style of music from Traditional Gospel to Funk and Blues to R&B and Jazz. I love SWR.

    Ease of Use:
From experince, you can put just about any head on top and get a quality sound.

    Support:
    no

    Overall:
The way I use it now (IF) it ever wears out would replace it with another one, a carbon copy of it.

    "Holy Moly!!! What a cabinet!!!"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Sound:
I have two Goliaths. I bought them in 2001. Hands down these bad boys are road worthy and sound absolutely incredible night after night. A beautiful wall of pure power with more punch than should be legal.

    Support:
never a hint of a problem

    "It only looks good"

    Quality:
    speakers keep blowing

    Value:
sence it keeps blowing speakers value is bad.I have heard only good things concering SWR's products that I almost think I purchased a lemon.

    Desirability:
    It looks good

    Support:
too long of a turn around but most repair shops are also backlogged.I purchased the goliath III instead of the cheaper brands hoping the swr would be more dependable, but that has not been the case.

    Overall:
I will put the swr in the shop one more time and pay for the repairs myself again so I do not have to wait for SWR backlog to clear up
