Sound:

As smooth and sweet-sounding as guitars costing 5X as much.

Feature:

The Takamines are renowned for their attention to detail--and the G340 does not disappoint.

Ease of Use:

As good as any of the 'non-cheater models' (such as the Zager EZ Playz), and far better than most.

Quality:

The fit, finish and acoustical properties are unheard-of in guitars costing as little as this model does. Plus, my wife claims it is the most beautiful guitar she has ever seen; she is particularly taken with the Abalone Mother Of Pearl inlays that abound on it, as well as the gold tuning keys. A bargain at twice the price.

Manufacturer Support:

I have had no problems, so no service work has been done.

Value:

I challenge any American to find a guitar of this quality, tone and clarity for under $400.

"TEN" says it all...

Overall:

I will own and cherish this incredible instrument for the rest of my life. What do I like least? ...I'll have to get back to you...haven't seen anything yet!

THE SOUND IS GREAT..TONE QUALITY IS EXCELENT/I'V HAD PEOPLE ASK ME WHAT I HAD TO DO TO GET THE GREAT ACC TONAL QUALITY..

Feature:

I BOUGHT IT AS A NON ELECTRIC ACCOUSTIC AND PUT A FISHMAN RARE EARTH SINGLE COIL PICKUP WTH AN END-PIN JACK AND REPLACED 7 FRETS THAT WERE WORN..I ALSO USE A FISHMAN PRE-AMP FOR VOLUME AND TONE CONTROL...

Ease of Use:

THE GUITAR PLAYS GREAT..I JUST PUT IT THRU THE SYSTEM AND SET THE TONE I WANT ON THE PRE- AMP

Quality:

I'V HAD NO PROBLEMS SINCE I SET IT UP//AND I'V PLAYED UP AND DOWN THE EAST COAST FROM MAINE TO GEORGIA
