"Great guitar, Great price, Great sound, Great looks! Buy one you will be happy you did."

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
For the price the materials used are extremely fine. It's a really nice looking, great sounding guitar.

    Quality:
There is nothing inexpensive looking or sounding about this guitar, but it is not an expensive guitar by my standards. I ordered what was to have been a very top quality, easy to play guitar that I returned. It cost twice what the Takamine cost, but was nearly as nice on sound and appearence.

    Value:
The Takamine G340SC is a guitar for every player, from beginner to accomplished. It's that good in my opinion.

    Sound:
The sound quality is better than 4 other name brand guitars I had tried. The highs are crisp, but smooth. The lows are equally as good. Mid ranges are beautiful.

    Ease of Use:
Bar cords are had for me because I have small hands, but I found they are easy to make on this guitar.

    Overall:
I think I have finally found the guitar I have been looking for. I can't imagine there is anything out there that would be better suited to my needs.

    "Better than all the rest."

    Feature:
For the money you spend you get the look and sound of a much more expensive guitar, the abalone on the fret board and rosette is beautiful and the gold tuners and the gorgeous wood really give the guitar a warm look. Not to mention that the solid top makes whatever music you make on this guitar sound amazing and the cut away lets you get to all the frets.

    Quality:
Perfect. Gorgeous finish, one of the most attractive guitars I have ever seen. I take good care of my guitars so I don't really know how much damage it can take, but so far I have had no problems or scratches or anything. Everyone I know who has or had a Takamine never said it went down in quality over time. I wouldn't worry about it.

    Value:
You will not find a better guitar for the money. Period.

    Desirability:
Sexy. The look is what drew me to it in the first place. Like I said before, the little added features like the abalone and gold tuners make this a very attractive guitar, and the wood is rich with a great finish.

    Sound:
Awesome. Just awesome. The tones is warm, clear and rich. It has great volume too!

    Ease of Use:
Ease is the reason I bought a Takamine in the first place! That's what they are known for. It is so easy to hold the strings down, I can play forever, it doesn't hurt at all.

    Support:
All I need to say is lifetime warranty. But I will also throw in that I have not needed any customer support for the guitar but I did send them an e-mail asking how to pronounce Takamine, and they were friendly, helpful and fast.

    Overall:
The only reason I would replace this guitar would be if or when it wears out. And if I could I would buy it all over again.
