"TAMA ROCKSTAR 9 PIECE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Feature:Love the hi-hat stand!I love the new hardware TAMA sends with this kit also. The tom mounts are great how they come apart. I use a Pearl rack and when I take the tom mounts apart I have 4 mounts to hang from my rack. And where the extra hole is you could put a cymbal!!!
Quality:
Kit is nicely made and showed up in good shape. 1 rim had a small flat spot in it, and the bass drum spurs didn't match, but Samd Day Music is currently working to get me a matching set. The Finish is beautiful.
Value:
I feel it was reasonable I think. They are nice quality
Desirability:
Practical parts and hardware.
Sound:
Love this KIT! Nice Thick sounding kick drums and the toms are great! I love that the snare is painted to match the rest of the kit. It looks awesome--Vintage red. This kit makes me feel like I have the most expensive kit out there it is just beautiful!! A+
Support:
No direct contact with TAMA at this time. Haven't needed any service yet.
Overall:
I will be wearing this set out before I get another set. Probably just add things along the way.

"Da Review"
Feature:I like the double bass but the coolest part about this set is that you can go all out because you have about everything you need but not everything because I think there should definitely be another tom added.
Quality:
It was made well and it is sturdy and these things can take some punishment let me tell you that.
Value:
This is where the problem I think is. They are overcharging a bit but not by a whole lot. Only by a 100 or so but I don't that is too bad and after a while you start to think it was worth it.
Desirability:
It has a great appeal to it and right away I wanted those drums.
Sound:
The sound of this set is awesome but if you don't like it loud I would suggest not to buy this drum set. The quality of the sound is pretty good but if you're good at tuning your instruments you will definitely be satisfied.
Overall:
I think I'll be satisfied for a while and if I want something else I'll just add on to it

"These are not perfect."
Feature:stands are well built.
Quality:
The boom stand plastic tightener snapped and broke the first time i tightened it, and I did not tighten it very hard. Also, Tama put 2 wrong size base screws in my kit, a local drum shop traded these for the correct size screws. Now I have to deal with Tama to try and get the boom stand fixed somehow.
Value:
Now I think the 5 peice kit is a much better buy. It is a lot of money for the extra 4 peices. Beginning drummers have no business with a 9 peice kit, need to master normal 5 peice. Also, please consider how much more space the 9 peice requires.
Sound:
Difficult to tune. screws meet resistance before they are finger tight on basses so difficult to tighten all screws with equal torque on the heads. Tuning was NOT even close "right out of the box.
Support:
Will find out.
