"Taylor 114E, The Best guitar for the money."
Feature:Very discrete volume and tone adjustments. Very tastefully done, and structurally an improvement over cutting out a big part of the side wood.
Quality:
"THE BEST" guitar for the money. No exceptions.
Value:
"THE BEST" guitar for the money. No exceptions.
Sound:
Very full and just a little bright. When I "hammer down" on it, it does not have any harsh string slap, and it takes the abuse really well. It sings out strong and clear.

Overall:
As soon as I started playing, I realized this was "the one." The one guitar I had been shopping around for months to find. Excellent action, great tone. Clean, simple, classic design. Innovative electronics. I had heard about Taylors Guitars, but thought I had to stick with the "Old Standards" to get a quality guitar. For the money, Taylor guitars are the best. I expect to keep this one as a "working" guitar, one you can take out into the world and not have a heart attack if it gets messed up.
