"The Best Creation Ever."
Feature:The workmanship is amazing on this instrument. It is truly beautiful. The Expression System sounds incredible plugged in, and the lack of a huge preamp (ie more features) is what makes this guitar so special, because you can tell it has the best electronics in the industry inside it. It is perfect.
Quality:
The most beautiful piece of artwork I have ever seen, and it doubles as a guitar. The abalone is beautiful. The fretboard inlays are subtle enough, but still scream aesthetic perfection, as does the headstock's inlay.
Value:
I think it is worth the extra money over the 814 (most comparable model I think). I played more 8's than 9's when shopping due to what the dealers had in stock, and I consistently liked the 914 better. The Engelmann spruce is such a huge jump in crispness and tonal beauty over the Sitka. I guess it is a personal preference thing, but for me, it was definitely worth the extra money. Plus, hardly anyone plays this guitar becuase it is the top of the line Taylor, and lets face it, expensive. So if you want a Taylor that looks, sounds, and plays like none other, this is the guitar for you. Sell body fluids if you have to, its worth the money.
Desirability:
This guitar is just amazing from all aspects. Those who have played it want it, and I am still so taken with it, even though its already mine. I love this guitar.
Sound:
The best sound I have ever heard in my entire life. By far. It even makes me sound like a good guitarist
Ease of Use:
The easiest guitar to make sound good that I have ever played. People just starting on guitar sound as good as I do on my last guitar. Its an incredible thing.
Support:
It's Taylor. I've heard nothing but good things.
Overall:
This is by far the best instrument ever made by human hands. It sounds amazing, plays amazing, looks amazing, and even is amazing plugged in. This guitar will absolutely knock your socks off and then blow you away as you play it even more. It is truly love at first sight, sound, and feel.
