Style of Music: started with beatles, simon and g, taylor, chet. now exclusively fingerstyle, chet , tommy emmanuel, murial anderson, ray cummin

Experience: about fifteen to present fromhobby to passion. did coffee houses, church when young. Mostly arm chair stuff, currently play out

Location: Georgetown,NY, US

"An axe by nature but performes like a sawmill is disquise."

Feature:
Was I mistaken about the back. Is it not bowed. I,m looking for the braces and there were none. I talked to one of the best pickers in the world. About the neck being straight as can be. This puts the string tension on the length as in vertically where the strength is. Does this account for the low action, absolutely great. Also heard and it makes sence, less finish equalls better reverberatiion, better sound. I do believe.

Quality:
Obviously this prod is not a high cost item, I do wonder about the glues, the two screws in the neck, no binding and the way the neck is connected to the body. Will all this hold up. I know it,s only four fifty but four fifty is almost five hundred buckeroos. I must say though, for what I played, during those two hours, I am seriously thinking bout going back to get it. my wife does not know it yet. Oh yea, at the head stock, there was the black laminate or whatever starting to peel away from the end, which gets me thinking bout longevity again,.

Value:
I have never held or played a better sounding or more important better playing guitar for this, this, this price in my life. I,m fifty seven yrs young. And an eboney fret board, come on.not.

Desirability:
I was attracted immediately, first the dark fretboard, the unfinished coating, brand name. The arched back is very unique, I really like it. Once I started playing it the ease of so and loudness really got my attentiion. Got to tell ya though. The strings were, and usually are on store instruments, very sticky, dull slow , abrasive what ever you want to call it. like running in sand. But over all I,m excited about my probable purchase. A real lolita.

Sound:
I just played it at a local store. Saw it on the shelf hanging with other taylors. Was looking for a friend, not too expensive, but playable and good sounding. Well I got to tell ya, with me its all about the neck, with todays electronics different strings and amps you can get about any sound you like. But the neck is playability, if it ain,t playable or workable it won,t work. A great neck is eighty percent to me. To my surprise or should I say not surprising when I first pecked it up It did sound really fine. Very robust with lound harmonics and clear mid range as well. Of course the lows and highs were there. I immediately looked for the price tag, bout knocked me over. I,m just talking bout the neck now, forget about the sound I just mentioned.

Ease of Use:
Again, Playability is directly related to the neck. Just an awsome tool by wich to play on. I get the same feeling as some hand made axes I,ve played going for over four grand.

Support:
Never had this brand, mostly because it seemed too high priced. I figure I could get a hand made axe for about the same price as the ones I,ve held in the past by this brand.

Overall:
Can only speculate at this point. I,m six ft six. two eighty. With my big hands I would rather have a one and seven eights neck. And definately a cutaway. Ya see, I,m a chet atkins die hard. finger picking is my passion, passion. An average neck I can,t play. It,s got to be real nice to do what needs to be done. I suspect if it needed replacrement, I would buy another at this price. And as always , I wonder how well the true ness of the neck will hold on, and when it does go out, can it be brought to original greatness. Or will the sadle rise, throwing everything off. Oh yes , let me say the intonation was really right on all the way up. A surprise for the price.
