"Hall of Fame or Hall of Failure?"
This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.
Sound:
Reverbs are good. The spring reverb is not totally convincing, but useable.
Feature:
THis was a gift to my brother. Did not have a chance to test the tone print option, which Guitar Player said in it's review was not yet functional. Came with a USB cable and a battery. See below.
Ease of Use:
Manual is not clear as to whether a mono source will yield stereo out. Very vague on the Tone Print function ("just pug in and pick a tone"), can't be that easy (see Guitar Player review).
Quality:
It appears to be well-made, solid, good fit and finish, but tHe unit shipped was not reliable. First three batteries, all new, crapped out in about two minutes. Seemed like a bad circuit heating up and shorting out. The fourth battery lasted at least half an hour. My brother will continue to check it out. The unit may have to be returned. Not a promising start...
Manufacturer Support:
Not yet. But we may have to.
Value:
If it works, it's great. But not sure yet if it really works.
The Wow Factor:
It's very appealing, and does a good job as a stomp box reverb. But it has to be reliable.
Overall:
It's good for use with an amp that has not got a built-in reverb.
