"This is the last amp a blues player needs to buy. I have amps worth or costing 4 or 5 times as much. The tech is what I play ou"

    Feature:
I gave it a 9 because it wont really sound like a marshall. but, you cant have everything. The fender tones are about perfect. I a/b switched the tech 21 trademark 60 with my vintage tube amps and liked the tech better.

    Desirability:
How shallow would you have to be to be concerned with the "sex appeal" of your amp. Get a life.

    Sound:
I am a blues tone junkie. I have 10 amps currently and have been playing music for 38 years and guitar for 27 years. My amp collection includes a 65 Fender deluxe vintage, early 70's champ, 59 bandmaster clone and Marshall Jcm 900 1/2 stack. I play a 73 strat and a hand built Hamer LP. That being said, this is the best amp I have owned or played through. It is nor a marshall, it will not crunch like a humbucker and a marshall. It will however, sound almost exactly like a vintage fender tube amp. You can with a vintage tube screamer, (or a robert Keeley modified new tube screamer) and a strat either sound like a SRV tone or a clean fender. It weighs 36 lbs, and is quite simply the last amp I ever have to buy.
