"Recording studio in a box...."

Feature:
Comes standard with the breakout box with line in, line out, headphone out, mic in, midi in and out as well as coax and digital connections. The card itself has digital cd in, line in and front, center and rear outputs for your speakers or monitors. All are extremely tweakable inside the software interface. The build quality is top notch and I haven't found it lacking in anyway at all. Also comes with usable recording software.

Quality:
Fit and finish were excellent. It's so nice and sleek looking in my case that I dare to call it sexy. Everything seems well manufactured and I don't forsee any mechanical issues with the set up aside from the fact that you need to use the IDE cable that is provided to attach the breakout box to the sound card. It's somewhat large and not very attractive if you have a see thru case. But functionally its not as issue.

Value:
It's rather pricey, but quality wise, worth the money. I purchased mine at a slightly higher price and they seemed to have dropped a little as new products have hit the shelves.

Desirability:
Like I said previously..... very sexy and looks and feels good. Serves it purpose well and has a "professional" appeal.

Sound:
Pristine sound reproduction. Esentially, true-to-life reproduction. I record a variety of midi instrument as well as acoustic and electric guitar and vocals with this as my primary interface. The signal to noise ratio is outstanding as is the low noise distortion. My recordings sound identical to the source and the gain adjustablilty is an excellent feature. Studio monitors really make this audio card shine and show it's audiophile quality.

Support:
Terratec support has handled all my needs and responded to my emails in a timely manner, which is more than I can say for many company's in the music industry.

Overall:
I'm completely satisfied with this purchase. If it broke for some reason, I'd buy the same product without hesitation. It's the first high quality recording card that I purchased after a dismal experience with an Audigy 2. If you want to record, buy it. You won't be disappointed.
