"A keeper. It has, sound, feel and looks. What else would you want?"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Sound:
I have a 3 year old all Mahogany D100M. Being all Mahogany it is a more mellow tone. When time came I added a TUSQ Saddle. That made it project even more. It gets even better as it ages.
    Feature:
For a standard acoustic, what else couold you ask for?
    Ease of Use:
Like most acoustic guitars they leave the factory with a high setup. It is easy enough to lower the action, just go slow on sanding the bottom of the bridge saddle. Now plays like butter. Frets were finished very well and no sharp fret ends.
    Quality:
Very well made. If I would change anything, I would want a thinner finish. Just a personal preference.
    Manufacturer Support:
    No problems.
    Value:
I looked at a number of different brands in the local shops. Many cost a lot more. None felt, looked or sounded as good right off the rack. I have eight electric guitars but I only need this one acoustic.
    The Wow Factor:
Mine has a perfect finish. The dark Mahogany would show any flaws. There is no way I complain about it's looks.
    Overall:
This is a keeper. If I look at anything else it would be one with an electric pickup and controls mounted. Now that I have a mellow all Mahogany I might would add a brighter toned guitar, but not sell this one.

The sound of this the D10 is great. The sustain is incredable. The high and lows are clear and the mid range is soothing. I had this model for three years ten years ago and am now buying another. My brothers biught the first one but I loved it so much I am buying another.
    Feature:
Over all, Good. The fretboard was easy to manage. The guitar stayed in tune for weeks.
    Quality:
My D10 had no defects and was in the best condition.
    Manufacturer Support:
    Didn't have to contact support.
    Value:
My brothers couldn't afford an expensive guitar for me but this one was probably better anyway.

"In the end, I think you'll find the Washburn D10S is hard to beat...and hard to put down, once you buy it!"

    Sound:
The day I bought my Washburn D10S, I sat down and took the time to play about 25 different guitars...these ranging in price from a $125 B-stock Epiphone to a Martin that cost thousands of dollars. At the end of the day, it was the D10S, hands-down, for the money! It has a sound that can only be described as "sweet." Once you play this one, especially right next to the others, you'll see what I mean!
    Feature:
Most of the features are built right into this guitar, beginning with the fine materials, such as the solid spruce top & the use of mohogany. On my D10s, the wood finish is just gorgeous. I love it! The back of the neck is almost like a work of art, in itself.
    Ease of Use:
This guitar is very easy to use. Mine came with an almost perfect set up.
    Quality:
Quality is the name of the game with the Washburn D10S. If you spend much time around guitars and look around at what's on the market, you'll realize that it don't get any better than this one for the money invested. It is no wonder that it has been rated, time and again, as one of the best acoustics for under $500.
    Manufacturer Support:
I rate the support the best because there has been absolutely no need for any factory support...period.
    Value:
I agree with the experts: the best value out there.
    The Wow Factor:
I didn't know I wanted one, until I played one...and then compared it with all the competition. Then I wanted one! And I got one! I expect to own this one from now on, too.
    Overall:
If you are in the market for a good acoustic guitar, I suggest that you take the time to do the same thing I did: go to your local guitar shop, tell the salesperson to let you spend some time with the inventory, and play everything that gets your attention. This is a sure-fire way to narrow the field. In the end, I think you'll find that the Washburn D10S is hard to beat...and hard to put down, once you buy it!

Style of Music: Classic Rock All The Way!!!!

    Experience: 3 years goin' strong

    "!!!!!READ BEFORE BUYING!!!!!!"

    Sound:
I've been playing guitar for 3 years, so I think I have a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about. The quality is not the best, I went to a music store and was playing it for alittle while and found that it sounds almost like a toy, not a real instrument. Play before you even consider buying.
    Feature:
There is better options other places.
    Quality:
The neck on this guitar, the feel of it just doesn't feel right, the Yamaha FG-413s is much much nicer, play them both and it is easy to tell. It depends on what you're looking for but the Yamaha FG-413s is easier to play, sounds much better, more intermediate, but fine for beginners, and only $50 more.
    Value:
I looked at another guitar when I was at the music store, for $249.99 I got the Yamaha FG-413s which is head and shoulders above the Washburn D10s, better sound, better quality, don't buy over the internet, go and play whatever your looking for, I did and I am not disappointed.
    The Wow Factor:
It depends on what you're looking for, not the best, not the worst, there are better guitars for close to the same price.
