"Finally - a guitar with functionality and quality, without the $1,000+ price tag."
Feature:Everything works well. The locking system keeps it in tune regardless of abuse. Slim body is very comfortable, and not too heavy.
Quality:
Seems to be made very well.
Value:
Very good for the $$$!
Desirability:
Very attractive design to me - definitely not a cookie-cutter strat or paul copy. I LOVE the headstock!
Sound:
Great versitility with the push/pull coil tap. Distortion sounds are incredible. Clean tones very good, too.
Ease of Use:
It plays great, but the volume knob is placed precariously directly under the trem bar, making it very hard to manipulate while you're playing. Also, the pickup selector is right in the path of my hand when strumming. I had to turn it 90 degrees (to a "left-right" instead of "up-down" movement)to keep from changing pickups accidentally while playing.
Support:
No interaction needed.
Overall:
She's a keeper. The only mod I'd like to do is to put in a volume pot with a slower sweep for more expressive swells. Otherwise, a guitar that can almost do it all!
