When I compare this guitar to my Taylor, the only way I can describe the difference is that the sound is more open on the Washburn WD750SW. The Taylor is very tight sounding, with all sounds very controlled, which gives it a distinct controlled sound. The Washburn sounds like a much higher priced guitar than it is, more like the Martin DR I used to have.
This guitar has it all! Solid wood, low action, and a neck you will LOVE!
Ease of Use:
More like an electric guitar, the neck stays the same thickness till around the 10th fret, allowing you to make chords and finger-pick higher on the neck with ease.
I would not go too much out on a limb by saying that this guitar exceeded all my expectations. The solid wood bindings and impeccable finish belie it's price. I have been looking at some boutique guitars like Collings, and this one compares favorably.
This is an imported guitar from China, and Washburn stated that they don't make repairs to them, only replacements.
I don't believe you can do better than this! If you can, let me know.
The Wow Factor:
Incredible value for the money. Easily worth twice the price. Save your Martin money and buy this instead!
