"Tasty china-good value"

Sound:

I bought this china looking for a slightly trashier, and less gongy sound, than the other ones I've had. The rivets of course make a difference, and so far, so good. This is a great cymbal for the money. I had a 20" china without the rivets, and while it was super loud, it wasn't quite responsive enough for my taste. The 18" with the rivets seems to be the right combination of size, trash, and volume. As for the durability, only time will tell. I play hard rock, and metal. No problem keeping up with my z customs, volume-wise either.

Overall:

I've been using wuhan chinas for years. They are a good value. No need to spend $200+ on a zildjian oriental or whatever, I would wind up cracking very quickly. If you break one, send it back, and get a free replacement....i did. They can be generally be gong-y sounding, that's why I like the rivets. But overall, in the context of a loud club gig, it will cut through just fine.
