Sound:

I think this unit does a really great job on sound quality. I used it on an electric guitar that I thought sounded great without making any adjustments. I also tried the G50 version on a bass guitar. I doubled it up with a wire and A/B switched between the wire and wireless at my FOH console and I could not tell the difference.

Feature:

I like the 1/4" input jack. That is rare on wireless gear. 6 channel options on a bottom line unit is impressive too. 100'+ range. Light weight. Tx clip can turn 90deg - although it has a gripping tooth that sticks into the plastic unit, so you end up with a little damage when sliding the clip off. The manual does not explain anything beyond basic set up which you could figure out without a manual.

Ease of Use:

Very very easy to get up and running. Could use an explaination of how to switch the clip 90deg before you end up damaging the unit. And which way do the batteries go in? It is labeled, but not very clearly. I wasn't even sure if the label was a label or not. I have several stage managers that take care of battery replacement and it's just not clear compared to other systems we have.

Quality:

I really thought this would be a fabulous unit and had planned on a total purchase of 3 of these. I initially only bought one to try out, but after getting it into my hands I just felt it would not hold up physically to the demands of a live production stage environment. The battery compartement door will be the first thing to break. Then the select switches. I returned the unit and purchased the model up (G50).

Manufacturer Support:

I've delt with a lot of Line6 products (Kedney bean, LiveXT, amps, and now this) and have never needed service/support for any of them.

Value:

I think this is a great product at a great price. Prior to this I had been using a wireless system that cost more, was more difficult to set up, and I have to be careful with frequency coordination. This is easier, cheaper, and sounds as good. Depends on what you are using this for, if it's a personaly item that you will take care of, this is a great piece of gear.
