"Pretty good unit! Chalk one up for new technology"
Feature:
I like that the transmitter does not have one of those annoying skinny little antennas sticking out of it. On the down side - The clip that is supposed to hold the transmitter to your belt or to your guitar strap is made of a soft metal that doesn't have enough spring to it. I happened to find a $2 cell phone case at a "surplus" store that works perfectly.
Quality:
It is made out of some sort of plastic but it feels pretty solid.
Value:
I didn't get any sort of a deal on the unit even though I was apparently the first guy in town to get one. I will consider getting a couple more transmitters for my other guitars if the price comes down.
Desirability:
Pretty cool looking receiver with lots of flashing lights.
Sound:
This is the best wireless guitar unit I have used. A full bodied sound comes across. No dropouts or funny noises so far.
Ease of Use:
It is easy to set up and get a good sound right from the get go.
Support:
Have not had to deal with the manufacturer.
Overall:
I don't replace equipment often. I can't imagine much improvement in the short term. I have only had the unit for three weeks. I have used it at two band practices, three solo practices and one 4 hour gig. I am on the third 9V battery. It eats batteries at exactly the rate advertised - one for every 5.5 hours use. I am lucky to have a good bulk supply at a local Costco.
