"Don't hesitate to buy this guitar. It is well worth the money."
Sound:
All my ratings for this guitar are in relation to the price that is being paid for it and are in comparison to other guitars in this price range that I've played. The sound is the best I've ever heard for a guitar of this price. It's not a Martin, but it's more than good enough for someone looking for an inexpensive guitar. People have always been surprised by the sound when I told them how much I paid for the guitar. It doesn't sound like some cheap dime store guitar. It sounds better than a Washburn that I had that was twice the price. I also own a Martin, so I do know what a good acoustic should sound like.
I recently took a friend to a local music store to show her this guitar. After she bought it, out of curiousity, I tried a higher priced but comparable Fender, and there was really no comparison. The Yamaha was hands-down the better guitar, both sound wise and playability wise.
Funny side note: Apparently, the salesman who was waiting on us had never played or heard this guitar. Naturally, he was trying to sell my friend a higher priced guitar, saying that the sound would be much better, but when he heard me play the Yamaha, his eyes actually widened, saying "WOW, that really is a nice sounding guitar". True story.
Feature:
The package gives you everything you need to start out playing. I think this guitar is worth the price WITHOUT the accessories!
Ease of Use:
I don't believe that there is a better or easier playing start-up guitar on the market for the price, and I've played guite a few. I HIGHLY recommend this guitar to anyone starting out. The easier a guitar is to play, the less chance you'll get discouraged, and this guitar is easy to play.
Quality:
Again, all my ratings for this guitar are in relation to the price that is being paid for it. This is a nice, plain looking dreadnaught style guitar. It's nothing fancy, but I like acoustic guitars that are just that and nothing else. I had this guitar for a long time, and it held up well under normal playing conditions. You can take it with you and not worry about ruining or breaking it. It is sturdy.
Manufacturer Support:
Not applicable.
Value:
I do not work for Yamaha or even sell guitars, but I truly belive that you CANNOT find a better guitar for the price you pay for this one.
The Wow Factor:
Again, I believe it's the best guitar you can get for the money you spend. Period. If I was in need of a second acoustic, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this guitar. In fact, I wouldn't even consider anything else, because there is no need to.
Overall:
If you want a great start-up guitar or a second guitar that you don't have to worry about breaking or getting stolen, get this one. You would have to be a very picky person to find something wrong with this guitar, especially for the price. I love it.
