Style of Music: Seriously, I do just about all kinds of music.

Experience: Songwriter, instrumentalist (bass, keyboards, guitar)

"If You Want Great Headphones AND Great Price, You Need These!"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Sound:
Let me start with "WOW!" The sound is amazing, really. I've been using a good quality pair of in-ear phones for several months and bought these for comfort and because of cord length. I honestly have the same listening experience, but without having to adjust the plug that slipped out of my ear or worry with a short cord. I mean the sound is as rich and as full and as crystal clear with these babies as with the in-ear phones they replaced. Almost unbelievable. In fact, it takes some getting used to having such rich sound with nothing wedged into my ear canal!
    Feature:
I like that the phones come with an adapter so I can connect to 1/4" or 1/8" jacks. A protective case would have been nice, but for this price I still think i got more than a great value, just because they sound so darned good!
    Ease of Use:
What could be easier? It takes a bit of wiggling to get optimum positioning for me, but that's with any headphone of this type.
    Quality:
I looked them over pretty thoroughly, and they have a good, quality feel to them; not flimsy anywhere. The only minor thing is that I would have preferred a spring type strain relief at the connector. The weight is perfect, not too light that they feel cheap or won't stay put, but no so heavy that they might cause fatigue either. While they're not likely to survive a machine washing or being run over with a mower, I'm sure that nothing they might be subjected to in my studio is going to break or damage them. Now if I can keep my kids out of my studio, I'm sure these phones will last, and perform, for years.
    Manufacturer Support:
Haven't had to use it yet. Unless there is a serious fluke, I tend to doubt I'll need to.
    Value:
I don't want to say this too strongly or someone might come knocking on my door for some more cash, but I think I got over on someone. I don't think I've ever gotten a better pair of headphones at such a good price. Knowing how they sound, I'd want them at almost twice the price (not that I'd pay that, but I'd sure be drooling).
    The Wow Factor:
Well, now that I've heard them, I feel like I got an amazing value, but I did buy then at least partly because they have a comfortable, sleek look to them.
    Overall:
I'll probably keep these (and replace them with same if something unfortunate happens) for a while. Of course, if I come into some kind of windfall, I might splurge for a "professional" pair, but I can't imagine even the most demanding professional not being at least somewhat impressed by these.

    Experience: Guitarist/vocalist/saxophonist/keyboardist

"If you want bass, you want these. Even if you don't want bass... you still want these."

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Sound:
The sound is incredible. The bass thumps, the trebles are extremely clear, and the mids are great too. It really does reproduce sound very naturally, and unlike my AKG K240M headphones, these are loud, and they sound better.
    Feature:
It's got a nice long cord, and a 1/4" TRS adapter for those applications which demand it. What more do you need?
    Quality:
They're built solid, and mine'll probably last me years!
    Value:
They blow my $100 AKG K240M headphones right out of the water.
    The Wow Factor:
First time I laid eyes on this thing, I immediately wanted it.
    Overall:
If I get another set of headphones, it would probably just be a backup for these. These are some of the best headphones around for casual listeners and audiophiles alike.
