"Whether you are a musician, piano player, composer or music lover, you'll love this instrument."
Feature:The most significant of all is the fact that it has 88 keys just like my Yamaha 6 ft. Grand Piano and all the keys(white and black) are of the same thickness as my Grand Piano and NOT those frustrating narrow keys of its earlier predecessors or other portable key boards in the market. Why do they may such disgusting NARROW keys anyway? My DGX-629 YPG-625 is just perfect for me. In the squencer section, tracks 1 and 2 are of reasonable lengths, However, tracks 3 and 4 are too short and my recordings are "cut off" at a certain point. Whether this is intentionally manfactured that way I am just not sure.
Quality:
The keyboard itself is very "excitingly" good if not excellent. But I wish the stand can be folded for transporting it in my car instead of unscrewing the screws.
Value:
I think the price is expensive but reasonably worth it.
Desirability:
All I can say to all that is---> I love this product.
Sound:
The sounds are very satisfying and inspirational if not excellent.
Ease of Use:
It is reasonably easy. But yes, there is a learning curve.
Support:
I don't remember dealing directly with The Yamaha Manufacturing Company but I hear from many circles that they are very reliable. It is the retail store(Kraft Music Store) that sold me this product that I am very happy with dealing with them and would highly recommend that store to others.
Overall:
I will not replace it with any other. I selected this one because mainly it is of well known reliable Yamaha brand and the fact that it has 88 keys weighted and with same dimensions as my Grand Piano and NOT frustratigly NARROW like most electronic keyboards. In summary, my overall comment---> I love it.
