ESP LTD James Hetfield Iron Cross Electric Guitar, Snow White

You know the sound, you know the name -- and your ESP LTD James Hetfield Iron Cross electric guitar produces the powerful wall of sonic fuel associated with the Metallica frontman's image and tonal style. This eye-catching axe features a set of EMG JH signature active pickups housed within a resonant maple-topped mahogany body, a robust mahogany neck, a slick and addicting ebony fingerboard, a sturdy TonePros locking Tune-O-Matic-style bridge and tailpiece, and secure LTD locking tuners. A stark cross at this baby's base gives off a sinister yet intriguing visual flair.

Mahogany and Maple Body: If you like a dark sound full of depth and sustain, then this axe is right up your alley. Mahogany is a very popular tonewood choice for electric guitars because it tends to highlight the middle and lower frequencies well -- giving you plenty of body. Maple brings a slightly rounded brightness to the table, as well as a hint of snappiness which can help your signal cut through the mix for those wailing leads and heart-stopping licks. Shoulder this ESP LTD, and you'll hear the time-tested combo of mahogany and maple bringing the rock.

Lightning-Fast Set-in Mahogany Neck: The mahogany neck on your James Hetfield Iron Cross is absolutely addicting. This speedy appendage harnesses 22 XJ frets over a slick and buttery ebony fingerboard. Incredibly tight action allows for some ferocious and… speedy runs. Mahogany necks with set-in construction can bring a nice heap of sustain, so if you like to flood your signal with gain, you can hold your notes for a while to get some ear-piercing sustained feedback.

EMG JH Signature Humbuckers for Sonic Destruction: That unmistakable James Hetfield wall of tone is harnessed in this guitar's complement of EMG JH signature humbuckers. These babies utilize ceramic pole pieces to give your output an aggressive attack, as well as a solid dose of low end. The overall sound of this axe is pretty dark, so take advantage of your tone control when you want to brighten things up for the right occasions.
