Description

Martin has been building the world's finest ukuleles from as early as 1916, including the smallest Soprano, the original model, to the larger Concert in 1925 and the Tenor uke in 1929. Both the concert model and tenor models have long been prized for their full-bodied voice and greater volume. The C1K concert ukelele features tops, back, sides and headplates of solid Hawaiian Koa, a wood native to Hawaii and a favorite of island players. It also features a solid Sitka braces, genuine mahogany blocks, and applied dovetail neck joints in the Martin tradition. Necks are crafted of select hardwood and capped with a solid Morado fingerboard and has a 15 inch scale length. Bridges are also of solid Morado, with white Tusq saddles. Open-geared nickel tuners with white buttons ensure precision. Finished in high quality satin lacquer. Padded bag included. A beautiful example of why Martin is still the name in superior quality ukuleles.
